From Pyramid Brewing:
On Saturday, September 16th 2017 we teamed up with Portland Brewing, Columbia distributing, Forest Park, and Nature Consortium for our annual Tap It Forward volunteer day. We came together to give back and help reduce the inevitable resource impact breweries require to operate. Between our two teams in Portland and Seattle, we volunteered over a 1,000 hours. This video shows the impact our Seattle team had. In Portland we cleared 1 mile of trail, helped with erosion efforts, built over 100 feet of fence, and pulled over 6,000 sq. ft. of ivy on a hillside near Pittock Mansion. In Seattle we removed 19,126 sq. ft. of invasive plant species including Himalayan blackberry, Scotch broom, and English ivy. Thank you to all who participated, including friends and family who joined in and Pyramid looks forwarded to our next Volunteer day! We hope we can invite you to our next volunteer event!
