With Hurricane Irma working it’s way toward south Florida, we wanted to keep you update on brewery closures in the area.
From Concrete Beach:
UPDATE: We are going to be closed this Thurs - Sun due to Hurricane Irma. If you are able to safely make it to the brewery today, we are offering free water refills for your growlers. Sending everyone good vibes - Be safe out there South Florida!
J Wakefield & Wynwood Brewing are both offering free water growler fills. This from Wynwood:
UPDATED: If for any reason you can't find drinking water, bring your growlers or any container and fill them here, in our taproom.
We're going to be open today, Thursday until 9:00 p.m. and we'll be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Keep calm, take precautions, and be safe!
This from J Wakefield:
We understand the challenges of sourcing clean, quality, drinking water during this time as we all prepare for Hurricane Irma. Bottles of water are depleting quickly in all local markets and grocery stores and we want to help.
If you have a growler, bring your clean growler to the brewery and we will fill it fresh from our tanks at no cost
No word from Miami Brewing or The Abbey Brewing….stay tuned here for more updates.
To ensure the safety of our guests & employees, we'll be closing at 5 PM on Sat, 9/9. The Tasting Room will remain closed through Mon, 9/11.
We plan to reopen Tue, 9/12, weather permitting. We'll continue to monitor the storm and will post any updates or changes on social media.
