Today we get our first peek at a new Tap Room Series can coming from Upslope. This beer is called Outside Denali Hop IPA and it will be brewed to help Outside Magazine celebrate their 40th anniversary. This beer is brewed with snowmelt and Denali hops and it will hike in at 6.5%-AbV & 50 IBU. If that’s not enough fun, this beer will be packaged in 19.2oz cans, so stay tuned for more info.
This update from Upslope:
We're headed to the backcountry once again this fall to host a pop-up tap room experience for our3rd Annual Backcountry Tap Room on Saturday, September 16, 2017! Get ready to enjoy some good beers in the great outdoors... but you'll have to earn it!
We've teamed up with our friends at Outside Magazine on a special collaboration anniversary brew as well as our friends at the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics for an even bigger, better and more sustainable event - 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Leave No Trace to support their 2018 Colorado Hot Spots!
This year's Backcountry Tap Room will serve as the exclusive release location of our limited edition Denali India Pale Ale from our Tap Room Series, a beer specially developed by our brewers to celebrate 40 years of Outside Magazine. Join us for a family-friendly, 3 mile hike up to 9,200 feet for this Outside Magazine anniversary IPA brewed with Denali hops!
All attendees (with ticket & valid ID) will get one complimentary 19.2 oz can of our Outside Magazine Denali India Pale Ale and up to 2 more cans of our 12 oz year-round styles. But our first taste won’t exactly be a walk in the park. Actually, it’ll be a walk in the woods. And once you hike to our tap room, you’ll be treated to a beer that pairs perfectly with a fall day on the front range with some sweet views!
