This morning we get our first look at what will likely be the next release coming to the Splinter Series from Troegs. This is Dear Peter and it is a Pennsylvania wild fruit ale brewed with nectarines from Peters Family Farm. According to the label, nectarines bruised in a hailstorm were used along with brettanomyces, lacto and pedio to create this barrel-aged beer (French, Hungarian & Italian oak). Look for Dear Peter to be packaged in 12.7oz bottles and the beer will hit 6%-AbV.
