Philadelphia, PA  (July 2017) 2SP Brewing Company, one of Philadelphia’s premier craft breweries, invites beer lovers to the Aston brewery on Saturday, July 29th from 3-9pm to celebrate the award-winning brewery’s two-year anniversary, featuring an afternoon of rare and limited beer releases, food trucks, games, live music, and more!

The party will kick-off with cake cutting, live music from local band, Chorduroy, and the release of the 2nd Anniversary Ale (6% ABV), a big, citrusy, all-Cascade IPA with 200 lbs of hops. Guests can enjoy the special brew on draft all night and in cans to go.

In addition to the 2nd Anniversary Ale, the 2SP Team will toast to two years with two rare and limited beer releases – Champagne Wit and Cranny Wit. At 4 pm, guests can join in a “Champagne Toast” featuring bottles of the Champagne Wit, a wit beer, barrel-aged in white wine barrels and re-fermented with Champange yeast. At 5 pm, the 2SP Team will celebrate with the tapping of one keg of Cranny Wit, the 2SP Weiss Wit with cranberry juice.

“In 2 years, we have expanded beyond Philadelphia into Delaware, Massachusetts, and overseas, Bob Barrar and Andrew “Ruby” Rubenstein have won a gold and bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival, and we were one of the first breweries on the East coast to ship craft beer to Tokyo,” said Michael Contreras, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We owe a lot of our expansions and success to our beer-loving fans and we are excited to be able to celebrate with the community and our supporters. The 2nd Anniversary Ale is for them.”

In addition to the specialty beer releases, guests can enjoy bites from two local food trucks, Abuelitas Empanadas and The Plum Pit, as well as corn hole and giant jenga.
