Fortt. Collins, CO , May 18, 2017 – World-class acts, top-notch beer and philanthropic fun – get ready because “Fat Tire presents the Tour de Fat” from New Belgium Brewing is coming to Philadelphia on Saturday, June 10. This year’s tour is the biggest and boldest yet, traveling to 33 cities. Plain White T’s will headline the Philadelphia show. The rock band, whose mega-hit, “Hey There Delilah” is the 18th most downloaded song of all time, recently released a new single, “Land of the Living.”

“This year we’re bringing in top headliners, such as Plain White T’s,” said New Belgium Brand Manager, Sam Sawyer. “We’ve got an eclectic mix of local talent, vaudeville acts, & magicians, plus great beer and we’ll be raising money for our non-profit partners. We couldn’t be more excited to bring the party to Philadelphia!”

Tour de Fat revelers are encouraged to wear costumes and everyone 21 and older will be able to enjoy some of New Belgium’s year-round line-up including the American craft beer icon, Fat Tire, Voodoo Ranger IPA and Citradelic Tangerine IPA.

Since 2000, Tour de Fat has raised close to $5 million for non-profit partners and hopes to generate more than $600,000 in support of local causes this year. The Philadelphia stop will benefit Neighborhood Bike Works, an organization focused on increasing opportunities for urban youth in underserved neighborhoods through bicycling.

“For Tour de Fat, we're very excited to partner again with New Belgium Brewing. As a community non-profit, we love working with a worker-owned company like New Belgium, especially given New Belgium's belief in bicycles. The fun and exposure Neighborhood Bike Works will gain through Tour de Fat is invaluable, and we will use it as a way to attract more volunteers, supporters, and program participants to our organization,” said Steve Maluk, executive director, Neighborhood Bike Works.
