Pittsburgh, PA (4.6.17) – Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week 2017 has announced a record number of local
breweries participating in the popular annual event taking place April 21-30. Now in its sixth year,
Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week (PCBW) is proud to welcome 18 breweries to the 10-day event that brings in
an estimated $2.4 million to the Pittsburgh region.
“Throughout the country, Pittsburgh is known as a hot bed of craft beer, and we’re proud to have Steel
City’s finest participate in Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week,” said Brian Meyer, president of Pittsburgh Craft
Beer Week. “Our number of breweries is larger than ever, and we look forward to yet another successful
event that will showcase craft beer not only from Pittsburgh, but from around the country as well.
We’ve made some exciting changes to this year’s PCBW, and we’ll be sharing those details at our
upcoming Media Day.”
Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week’s (#PCBW) Media Day will take place Saturday, April 15 from noon to 2 p.m.
at Penn Brewery (800 Vinial Street). Media will have an opportunity to sample collaboration beers
crafted by Pittsburgh-area brewers, specifically brewed for PCBW. Reporters, bloggers, and podcasters
will also have the opportunity for one-on- one interviews with PCBW Board members and Pittsburgh-
area craft brewers.
PCBW has also announced that local artist, Mark Brewer, has designed the official event artwork that
will be used on T-shirts, glassware, posters, and the printed guide. The artwork is available here. Mark
will be available for interviews at Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week’s Media Day.
