Sonoma County, CA (March 24, 2017)—Making its debut in bottles next month, Fastback Racer will be hitting the shelves in April for a limited time only.
A Double IPA with full-throttle hoppiness, this beer is packed with intense bitterness and massive hop additions of Citra and Ekuanot.
Brewmaster and COO, Richard G. Norgrove, states “Fastback has quickly become one of our favorites and we are thrilled for it to make its debut as part of Bear Republic’s Double IPA series.”
This giant of a beer is revved to the limit on a chassis of Rye, Munich, and light caramel malts. Extremely hop forward and drinkable, the tropical and citrusy notes of this beer shine through.
Pairing well with spicy and savory dishes, it makes the ideal companion for your meal. Additionally, cheeses such as aged cheddar, blue cheese, and goat cheese provide a wonderful balance. 
Fastback Racer is available for a limited time in draft, 6-packs, and 22 oz. bottles.
Fastback Racer will be available on tap at Bear Republic’s brewpub in Healdsburg, California on Friday, March 31, beginning at 4:00 pm.
From 4:00-7:00 pm, join the team for a release event in the Bear Republic courtyard.

Overall: Fastback Racer is a tremendously bitter and hoppy Double IPA. When you drink, tropical and citrus flavor and aroma from the use of Citra and Ekuanot are apparent. You will notice light rye and caramel characteristics present from the use of the malt.
