Hood River, Oregon – January 16, 2017 – How could Full Sail possibly make Session Black even more delicious and drinkable? Here’s a way: Session Black Cherry Black. This brand new beer in the Session Series is everything fans have always loved about Session Black, now with a dash of dark cherry flavor. Still short, dark and drinkable. Still rocking those notes of roasty chocolate. But with a new twist.
“This new Session is Session Black with a cherry on top – actually, it’s more like a cherry cordial without the brandy,” says Full Sail Brewmaster Jim Kelter. “The aroma and flavor of cherry complements the smooth chocolate character of this dark lager. Brewed with Pale, Caramel, Munich and Chocolate malts, this is an easy-drinking wintertime beer. It’s not too heavy with just the right amount of cherry.” 
Session Black Cherry Black pours deep garnet in color with a creamy tan head. Aromas of cocoa and cherry with a subtle floral essence make it a smooth-drinking dark lager with a full palate of bittersweet chocolate and sweet cherry taste. Black Cherry Black is rich in flavor yet finishes cleanly and is remarkably refreshing.
Session Black Cherry Black pairs well with lightly grilled red meats and roasted root vegetables, lighter cheeses such as Brie, mozzarella and ricotta, aged pungent cheeses like Glacier Blue, and nuttier cheeses like Parmesan. Its dark cherry flavor also complements chocolate desserts, such as German chocolate cake and brownies, as well as bread pudding.
