CLEARWATER, FL (Sept. 8, 2016) – Pair O’ Dice Brewing is excited to introduce a new seasonal offering, Shooter Brown, a northern English style nut brown ale. This limited release will be available from September to November in all 8 counties where Pair O’ Dice Brewing is distributed.
Shooter Brown is a classic English style nut brown. Brewed with a blend of imported English and caramel malts, it is a medium bodied brown ale that pours a deep amber-brown color. There is a pecan sweetness on the nose that follows through with nutty and toffee flavors on the palate.
“I am a huge fan of nut browns,” says Pair O’ Dice’s Head Brewer, Ken Rosenthal. “In fact, it was the first beer style I ever brewed at home. With the abundance of pumpkin beers these days we’re excited to release something a little different for the fall season. There is a distinct pecan and toffee profile that I love about this beer. It’s the perfect beer to celebrate my favorite time of year.”

To celebrate the release of Shooter Brown Pair O’ Dice Brewing is hosting a Fall Seasonal Release Party on Friday, September 9th from 4-11pm at their Clearwater tap room. Shooter Brown will be on tap as well as six other versions of the nut brown ale. Those versions include: Nitro Shooter Brown, Shooter’s Chocolate Pecan Pie, Nut Brown with Cinnamon and Figs, Nut Brown with Chocolate and Peanut Butter, Nut Brown with Toasted Coconut, and Nut Brown with Coffee and Chocolate. The coffee was sourced locally from Mazzaro’s Italian Market and the chocolate was sourced locally from Pinellas Chocolate Company. All beers, with the exception of the Nitro, will be available to take home in 32oz growlers on Friday only. Taste of Gourmet Food Truck will have food available for purchase.
