New Belgium To Create Negroni Beer For Negroni Week (With Cochineal Bugs)

Here’s a peek at a unique beer coming from New Belgium.  This is Negroni Beer and it will be brewed for Negroni Week.  This beer will hit 6%-AbV and 7 IBU and the list of ingredients even includes bugs!  Yes the list of ingredients includes Cochineal Bugs.  Negroni Beer starts as a base beer brewed with spices, fruit and herbs and this beer was then blended with last year’s Lips of Faith blackberry barleywine.  As the label says, “Ale brewed with herb, plant, bark, fruit, vegetable, root and bugs!”
