From Yonkers Brewing:
YONKERS, NY (April 26, 2016) – The team at Yonkers Brewing Co. is embracing spring with open arms and a new bottled warm weather seasonal beer – Shower Time Pale Ale. Brewed with a refreshing combination of Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic Pacific NW hops, this pale golden brew is super aromatic with a huge hop character and intense citrus, stone fruit and melon flavors.
Already a popular pick on draught at their restaurant brewery on the Yonkers Waterfront, the Shower Time Pale Ale is less bitter and has a more balanced malt profile than a traditional American Pale Ale. “The aroma on this beer is tremendous,” says Sharif Taleb, Head Brewer at Yonkers Brewing Co. “You are able to pick up the various citrus notes from first sniff to last sip without an overpowering bitterness, making it a very easy beer to enjoy.”
The new beer has also gained the attention of beer establishments who will be carrying the beer in either bottles or on draught including the DeCicco stores (@deciccosbeer), Stew Leonard’s (@stewleonards), Whole Foods (@wholefoods) and more. Release events are scheduled at Beer Authority (@beerauthoritynyc) in NYC on April 27, Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers (@drafthouse) on May 5, Smokehouse Tailgate Grill in Mamaroneck (@smokehousetailgategrill) on May 18, Beer Noggin in Bronxville (@beernoggin) on May 25 and many more. Check our Facebook page for a listing of these Shower Time Pale Ale parties.
“The Shower Time Pale Ale is the brewer’s take on a refreshing spring beer, he was inspired by his college days when he used to bring a beverage into the shower to start his night out” says Nick Califano, Co-Founder of Yonkers Brewing Co. “Many of the accounts we cater to not only enjoy the story behind this brew but reminisce on their own shower beer memories, we always have a good laugh over it.”
How to get your hands on a bottle:
Yonkers Brewing Co.’s Shower Time Pale Ale will be available throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley from late April through September in six-packs.
