From Terrapin (#CheckTheDate):
Terrapin’s newest spring seasonal, Gesundheit will be blanketing shelves soon. This Hefeweizen brings out the best of Georgia spring: the pollen.
Locally sourced from Terrapin’s six-acre campus, the pollen was added to the brew during the dry-hopping phase, bringing the experience of a pollen-filled morning to your palate. But that’s not all that makes this beer special. Instead of traditional grains, we used ragweed as an adjunct grain in the malt bill, adding a woody sweetness.
Each 6 pack wrap of Gesundheit also doubles as a tissue cady, so when you’ve finished the beer, you can decorate the box of tissues you purchased to go along with it.
From the label: “Wheeze your way through spring with Terrapin’s Gesundheit, a Hefeweizen brewed with Ragweed and dry hopped with fresh Georgia pollen. This unfiltered ale looks reminiscent of your car windshield on a Georgia spring day, and pairs nicely with your favorite anti-histamine.
Ah-choo!
Bless You.”
