It’s cocktail time, no shaker required! Melt My Brain is ready for sipping and we’re sharing this mind blowing, award-winning, Experimental Golden Ale far and wide with Short’s fans in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Melt My Brain made its debut at Short’s Eleventh Anniversary Extravaganza less than one year ago this week. Our pub and pub events are always a proving ground for new brews and Melt My Brain certainly passed the test. We packed ‘er up and headed off to the 2015 Great American Beer Festival where Melt My Brain brought home a silver medal in our signature category, Experimental Beer.

Melt My Brain (6.1% ABV – 6 IBU) is an experimental Golden Ale brewed with coriander, juniper berries, limes and blended with tonic water to create the tasting experience of drinking a gin and tonic cocktail.  Delicate aromas of citrus and pine flow into bold bright flavors of sweet lime with a slightly sticky bitterness.  Refreshing and clean, a tasty tonic effervescence provokes the palate for more.

If you’re one of our home state fans, you can look forward to finding this brew on store shelves beginning today. If you’re one of our new friends in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Or Pennsylvania, check for this brew at your favorite beer spot later this week.

Looking to try some of Short’s newest brews and old favorites? Make a trip up to the pub forShort’s Anni Party XII! Our biggest party of the year is taking place on April 30th, 2016 in downtown Bellaire with Short’s brews, Starcut Ciders, local food, and live music. So, practice your crane pose, and don’t forget to order your tickets today at shortsbrew.com/anniparty.
