From Great Divide:
his year’s Collaboration Fest is on the horizon and we’re excited to be able to participate once more. Put on by the good people at Two Parts, Collaboration Fest involves more than 75 collaborative projects from breweries across the country and globe. This year we teamed up with our friends down at TRVE Brewing for something special…
We don’t often have the opportunity to work with other breweries (at least as much as we want to) and Collaboration Fest allows us to get outside of our typical repertoire and have some fun (well, more fun). We joined forces with the folks at TRVE Brewing to create, To Helles and Back, a traditional Helles Lager. Knowing that this festival will produce all sorts of wacky beers, our team decided to go the classic route and knock out a simple and traditional brew that we both really wanted to consume ourselves. This is the first lager on TRVE’s system and we do not currently produce a year-round lager beer so we thought it would be perfect timing to give one a shot. Instead of brewing one version, we decided that we both wanted more of this sessionable treat at our respective breweries. The outcome of this brainchild is exceedingly tasty and we can only imagine that this gem will be gone about as fast as it goes on tap! Do make sure to try both our version and TRVE’s version.
If you managed to snag a ticket to the event on March 19th at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, come say hey and try our tasty creation as well as all of the other collaboration beers. If you weren’t able to grab tickets in time, stop by either tap room to see what To Helles and Back is all about while supplies last! This beer won’t last long. We will also be selling some limited edition schwag for this beer in our tap rooms.
