Tradition Brewing has signed a lease agreement at 700 Thimble Shoals Blvd in the Oyster Point area of Newport News, VA.
“We are thrilled to have identified a location in the heart of Oyster Point and at the Jefferson corridor entrance to the City Center District,” said Gray Bowditch, co-founder and partner.
T
he 6,700-square-foot production space will host a 20-barrel German brewing system, kegging operations, two walk-in refrigeration units and space to add a bottling line. Patrons will have the opportunity to observe the brewing process through private tours or while seated in the 4,200-square-foot tasting room.
Randy Thomas of Spacemakers Inc. in Norfolk will be responsible for the construction phase of the team’s new space, which was designed by Tymoff & Moss, Architects of Norfolk, VA.
Craig Read with Read Commercial Properties of Hampton identified the site and negotiated with asset manager Drucker and Falk of Newport News for the Tradition Brewing team.
