From Night Shift:
Everett, MA - December 22, 2015 - Everett-based brewery, Night Shift Brewing, joins The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) in their mission to end hunger. In exchange for a free, guided tour of their facility, Night Shift encourages its patrons to donate a non-perishable food item (or cash contribution) that will benefit The GBFB. With a vision to provide people in need with one healthy meal a day, The GBFB sees food drives and donations like these absolutely essential.
Night Shift's partnership with The GBFB in the fight against hunger provides the brewery an opportunity to give back to the community that has helped them grow. With the season of giving already here, it is an ideal time to donate to those in need.
"Our brewery philosophy is centered around the idea of sharing," says Night Shift co-founder, Michael Oxton. "We're more than happy to share our brewery with all visitors by offering free tours. In return, we simply encourage those visitors to share back with a donation to The GBFB."
The GBFB has distributed over 54 million pounds of food in the last year with the help of over 25,000 volunteers and with the financial contributions from local businesses like Night Shift. Learn more on how you can help end hunger at The GBFB's website and visit Night Shift'staproom to make a donation.
