From Trinity:
Last week we joined the ranks of Logsdon, out of Oregon, as the only 2 breweries in the country to ever win 2 medals in the American Brettanomyces category at the Great American Beer Festival. Red Swingline IPA Primitif garnished a silver medal, as this highly touted barrel aged beer continues to rack up a longer list of awards. "This award is truly a proud moment, we're making some of the top sours in the world right now and using new creative ideas to construct them. The 'evolution of sours' is finally catching up with our unique approach to these sophisticated barrel-aged creations," -smiled our owner Jason Yester. Beyond this recent award Red Swingline was: named top 25 beers in the world in 2013 by DRAFT magazine, it's 'brett only' spin off 'Easy Swinger' was again named top 25 beers in the world in 2014; locally in Denver Red Swingline still reigns the title for Best of show at Chef n' Brew 2014, and was dubbed 'Colorado's Defining Beer...' by The Westword! There's a large amount of momentum behind this beer right now, and we're going to keep that rolling !
