Flying Fish RedFish Wins Bronze Medal at GABF

imageFrom Flying Fish:

After winning sliver last year, RedFish medals again in 2015 with a bronze at the GABF. To put that into perspective, there were 6647 beers entered and only 242 breweries took home medals. That makes four for Flying Fish in the past three years. Congrats to the entire brewery team for making it happen.

To celebrate the win, we are doing $8 growler fills of RedFish all month.

Also congrats to the other NJ winner Spellbound Brewing for claiming a silver medal before they are even a year old. Great job guys!

Exit 15 Heading Your Way

We consider coffee and beer as two of the four major food groups, so for our 10th Exit Series release we are combining them.  We worked with our friends at Revolution Roasters in Colllingswood, NJ who created a special multi-region blend for this brew.

The beer itself is a big bodied, intensely hopped golden IPA with a distinct coffee presence.  Cold brewed coffee complements the hop flavors but doesn’t add to the beer’s overall bitterness.  The beer in hopped several times and then dry hopped with Cascade, Centennial and Citra.  This Coffee IPA creates the sensory surprise of a light colored beer with a big coffee aroma and flavor.
Exit 15 starts shipping Monday and is extremely limited so it won’t be out there long.
