MillerCoors To Close Eden, NC Brewery In 2016

MillerCoors said Monday it is closing its Eden brewery after 37 years in September 2016, eliminating 520 jobs as part of consolidating distribution along the East Coast.

The News & Record of Greensboro reported that full-time employees were called in for a special meeting this morning at the 863 E. Meadow Road plant. There are 90 salaried and 430 full-time workers at the plant, said Marty Maloney, a consultant spokesman for MillerCoors.
