Lake Effect Brewing - Old Brown Ale, 1948, St. Lawrence & Hala Kahiki

Here’s a new bog bottle coming from Lake Effect Brewing Co in Chicago, IL.  This is Old Brown Ale and it is an Oud Bruin style ale.  This beer is aged 18 months in wine barrels with brettanomyces, it will be packaged in 750ml bottles and the beer will come in at 6.2%-AbV.   We also have Hala Kahiki ale brewed with pineapple and hibiscus (5.2%-AbV), St. Lawrence gose ale (4.8%-AbV, 12oz cans) & 1948 Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with Superdawg Drive-In (5.8%-AbV, 12oz cans).imageimage
