19 Sept 2015 Update on Harvester from Green Man:

It’s that time of year again, when nights cool down and the Green Man’s foliage turns yellow and orange for the release of Harvester. One of Green Man Brewery’s rotating offerings, Harvester is a unique interpretation of the classic German Märzen style.

Harvester’s rustic flavor of toasted grain and caramel notes is a salute to the old world taste of the season.  A creative hop blend of German Magnum and American Palisade hops offer a clean bitter palate.

At 6 % ABV and 30 IBU’s this brew is perfect for tossing back at a barbeque or savoring around a campfire.

“Balance is key to this style, and for Harvester the earthy malts and herbal hops meld seamlessly,”  says Green Man’s Head Brewer, John Stuart.

Harvester’s rich toasted notes imply cooler weather is on the way and it’s festive auburn hue hints at the changing of the leaves. Look for 6 packs and draft of Harvester throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee by the end of September.
