Santa Fe Brewing Releasing the Santa Fe Gold Year Round On 7/11

imageFrom Santa Fe Brewing:

Santa Fe, New Mexico - On July 11, the Santa Fe Brewing Company is excited to release

a brand new year-round beer: Santa Fe Brewing’s answer to a session ale, the Santa Fe Gold. This

American Golden Ale is perfect for porch-drinking, horse-shoeing, hiking, biking, camping,

rafting, and canoeing. When asked why we’ve has decided to come out with Santa Fe Gold,

owner Brian Lock commented, "SFBC has gotten several requests recently for a beer that is full

of flavor but low in alcohol, so you can enjoy more of them socially and still keep your wits about

you." To usher in this special beer, we will be hosting a release party at the brewery on Saturday,

July 11, with a food truck and live music from 12 – 6pm. All are invited!

Crisp and refreshing, Santa Fe Gold is the perfect gateway beer for someone new to the craft beer

phenomenon. At 4% ABV, this beer may seem like your typical, boring, no-name domestic, but

quite the contrary – Santa Fe Gold has just enough body to convince even the snobbiest beer snob

that lighter beers don’t have to be light in flavor.

With the right blend of Two-Row Pale, Pilsner, Vienna, and Caramel malt for color, this easy-

drinker is smooth, satisfying, and light-bodied, without the need for the adjuncts like rice or corn

that the “big guys” use. The balance of Tettnang and Amarillo hops go a long way to give this

beer the complex character that we’ve come to expect from a craft brewery. It will be available in

New Mexico at launch followed by the rest of SFBC’s distributors by year end, just in time for

Gold to become the first of the line to be put into 12-packs. So look out for that sleek solid gold

can with the familiar Zia symbol, because it’s hitting the shelves soon and it’s worth the rush!
