Silver City Brewery Releasing Bourbon Barrel-Aged Fat Scotch Ale & Coming Up Oktoberfest & Wonderland

Silver City Brewery announces the release of ultra-limited 2015 Bourbon Barrel Aged Fat Scotch Ale and the return of Liquid Sunshine Belgian Tripel



Fat Scotch Ale, one of Silver City’s most popular award winning beers, was aged for a year in Heaven Hill Whiskey Barrels. This highly coveted release is a marriage of oak aging, bourbon character, & world class Scotch Ale. The 324 bottles made available at Silver City Brewery’s Taproom sold out in 3 hours leaving the only remaining bottles available to the limited retailers around the Puget Sound.



Silver City’s Bourbon Barrel Fat Scotch Ale is the 2nd of 5 Barrel Aged releases for 2015 that will be available at limited retailers. Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, Giant Made of Shadows, Old Scrooge, & Wine Barrel Aged Le Fat will make up the rest of the 2015 series. Look for Bourbon Barrel Aged Fat Scotch Ale now in 22oz bottles at the list of accounts below.



Liquid Sunshine Belgian Tripel is part of Silver City Brewery’s limited release line-up making it’s return again this year with it’s new look. Liquid Sunshine is Silver City’s interpretation of this classic Belgian Style. Silver City’s annual Limited Releases also include Imperial Stout, Fat Wood Scotch Ale, The Giant Made of Shadows, Citra Wet Hop Ale, & Old Scrooge Christmas Ale. Look for Liquid Sunshine in 22oz bottles and limited draft around the Puget Sound wherever great local craft beer is offered.
