This December residents in the City of Brotherly Love will be able to find craft beer from Ninkasi Brewing Company of Eugene, Oregon through a partnership with Penn Beer Distributors in Philadelphia. The brewery, known for its highly-hopped IPA’s, including Total Domination IPA and Tricerahops Double IPA, and award-winning craft lagers, will be sending a special shipment to the city mid-December.
“Philadelphia is a great city with a great craft beer culture,” says Nikos Ridge, CEO and co-founder of Ninkasi. “One of our goals at Ninkasi is to find exciting ways to engage the craft community throughout the United States, even though our distribution footprint is primarily focused in the western states.” Nick Funchion, Business Development Manager at Penn Beer Distributors commented, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Ninkasi Brewing Company and look forward to bringing their award winning portfolio of beers to craft beer enthusiasts in Philadelphia.”
Ninkasi hopes to send special shipments to Philadelphia a few times throughout 2015, including for craft-centric events like Philly Beer Week.
