San Francisco, CA -- Tuesday, October 28, 2014 -- Every year since the San Francisco Brewers Guild launched one of the country's first Beer Weeks (2009), the celebrated Bay Area institution has upped the ante in curating standout Northern California craft beer events featuring the 19 premier Guild breweries and additional select Northern California-based breweries. Today, SF Beer Week has evolved into a top international destination presenting some of the world's finest beers at 600 events hosted by renowned breweries, acclaimed restaurants, bars, and retailers. SF Beer Week 2015 runs from February 6 - 15, 2015 with official events spanning the greater San Francisco Bay Area from Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa. Mark your calendars as SF Beer Week 2015 pulls out all the stops with its most ambitious roster of events to date!
SF Beer Week 2015 kicks-off the 10 days of festivities with its Opening Gala taking place at the newly renovated Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason on February 6, 2015, where more than 3,000 craft beer enthusiasts will unite for the ultimate tasting celebration. 80 Northern California breweries will be onsite at the Gala spotlighting the remarkable quality and innovative spirit flourishing in one of the foremost craft beer regions in the country. SF Beer Week's official events will be announced in early December 2014, but beer geeks surely can start to get revved up for a slew of special beer releases, beer festivals, meet-the-brewer opportunities, beer dinners, tastings, lectures and panel discussions, homebrewing demonstrations, and educational events. Once again, the San Francisco Brewers Guild will also release its very own collaboration beer at the Gala, which will subsequently be available at tons of events throughout SF Beer Week.

Over the years, the region's singular entrepreneurial vision and access to a bountiful of local resources have instilled Northern California breweries the opportunity to set the global standard for exceptional brewing. Just in time for SF Beer Week 2015, three new breweries join the San Francisco Brewers Guild, including Bartlett Hall, Cellarmaker Brewing, and Fort Point Beer Company. The San Francisco Brewers Guild consists of 19 total breweries, which also includes: 21st Amendment Brewery, Almanac Beer Company, Anchor Brewing, The Beach Chalet, Cerveceria de MateVeza, Headlands Brewing Company, Magnolia Brewing, Pine Street Brewery, Pizza Orgasmica & Brewing Company, San Francisco Brewing Company, Social Kitchen & Brewery, Southern Pacific Brewing, Southpaw BBQ, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, ThirstyBear Brewing Company, and Triple Voodoo Brewing.
