Deschutes - Zarabanda

image
In a few days you’ll see this beer elsewhere on the mighty interweb, but here’s your very first look at a new beer from Deschutes.  This is Zarabanda and it is an ale with lemon verbena, pink peppercorns, sumac ( a spice made from flowers) and dried lime.  This beer is brewed in collaboration with Chef

José Andrés and it is a “Spanish take” on a Farmhouse Saison.  Look for Zarabanda to be packaged in 22oz bottles.

Update 22 Oct 2014…..based on the approved labels below, Deschutes Zarabanda will come in at EITHER 6.3 or 6/7% ABV.image
