From Boulevard:
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Today, Tuesday, August 19, one of the country’s most respected craft breweries, Boulevard Brewing Company (2501 Southwest Boulevard, Kansas City, MO; 816-474-7095), announced that its award-winning craft beers will soon be available year-round across the Greater Philadelphia Area. Boulevard, one of the most recognizable brands in the Midwest, has partnered with Muller, Inc. to distribute its line of beers in the city and surrounding Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
“Boulevard is producing some of the highest quality beers in the entire country, not just in the Midwest, so we felt compelled to help bring them to America’s Best Beer-Drinking City,” says Muller Vice President of Sales John Houck. “We couldn’t be more proud and honored to be working with Boulevard on this launch and welcoming them into our bars, restaurants and homes.”
To celebrate the new partnership and launch, representatives from Boulevard will organize a week-long series of tastings and events in and around Philadelphia in October; more details will be made available in early September. Boulevard beers, available in bottles and on draft, will include: Single-Wide IPA, an American-style IPA boasting a heady combination of six varieties of hops: Zeus, Bravo, Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra; Unfiltered Wheat Beer, the brewery’s most popular offering, an easy drinking American-style wheat beer with a natural citrus-y flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance; and Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, a Belgian-style farmhouse ale surging with fruit-y aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes with a pepper-y, dry finish, from the brewery’s wildly popular and critically-acclaimed Smokestack Series.
“We are very excited to be expanding our reach to more markets in the Northeast, including Philadelphia,” says Boulevard’s Vice President of Sales Steve Mills. “The city is home to savvy craft beer enthusiasts, and we’re looking forward to introducing them to Boulevard’s lineup.”
