Troegs Enters North Carolina Distribution

imageFrom Troegs:

We’re excited to announce the opening of North Carolina! Craft beer fans can expect to see Tröegs beers flowing in the greater Charlotte, Durham, Goldsboro, Greensboro, Raleigh, Wilmington, and Winston-Salem areas by mid-August. We initially plan to open North Carolina with three of our year-round offerings - DreamWeaver Wheat, Perpetual IPA, and Troegenator Double Bock – as well as our upcoming brand new fall seasonal, Hop Knife Harvest Ale. Additionally, our Anthology variety packages will also be available in all markets. “Our company has been built on steady growth,” said Chris Trogner. “This is the first new market we’ve opened in nearly six years and we are excited to meet the demands of North Carolina craft beer fans who have been requesting our beer. They pulled us into the market!” Stay tuned for more news about our expansion into NC in next month’s issue of Tröegs Tales.

New Distribution Center

The brewery has secured a 55,000-square foot warehouse just outside Elizabethtown, PA. The facility will initially serve as a storage warehouse, but ultimately will become the logistics facility for Troegs. The new space is climate controlled with 20,000 square feet convertible to refrigerated space. Immediate use is for off-site storage of excess kegs and packaging materials, but over time the building will handle all shipping/receiving for the brewery in Hershey. The additional warehouse space gives us the opportunity to expand our cork and cage beers since we have a lot of new space for bottling conditioning. We move in on September 1st!
