From Foothills:
Exciting news from the brewery: in honor of the newly opened Sam's Bottle Shop in Durham, we decided to release one of our most rare and sought-after beers... That's right, Baltic Porter is back.
Long-time Foothills fans will remember the Baltic Porter as the first of our beers ever to medal at the GABF: a Gold in the Pro-Am competition back in 2006. More recent fans might remember its re-release in honor of the 5th anniversary of Pop the Cap, in 2010. This release marks the 3rd time we've ever made this beer-- and for good reason. It takes 4 months to brew. (Worth every second.)
You can only get it at Sam's Quik Shop, Sam's Bottle Shop, and the our pub in downtown Winston-Salem, and it's not going to last long-- so wherever you're headed to get it, call ahead before you make the trip!
If you'd like to know more about Sam's new location, here's an article from IndyWeek.
And speaking of seasonal beers, our April IPA of the Month is still available at the pub and in bottle shops all over North Carolina, but not for long, so get a move on!
