Here’s your first peek at the packaging for Cigar City 2014 Operation Homefront IPA. This beer was first created in 2011 to support the men and women of America's armed forces. Once again this beer is aged on donated Louisville Slugger maple baseball bats with donated hops from Yakima’s Puterbaugh Farms and infused with orange peel. Look for a Memorial Day 2014 release and a version of this beer also coming from several other breweries to support the cause. This beer will be packaged in 12oz cans and come in at 6.2% ABV.
This update (20 May 2014)from Cigar City:
Cigar City will be holding a release event for Homefront IPA at its Tasting Room at 3924 West Spruce Street in Tampa, Florida on May 28th at 6PM. This will be the first time guests can purchase the beer at our brewery on draft and in 6-Pack cans. Homefront IPA will also be released into Cigar City Brewing’s distribution network.
