Denver’s Strange Brewing Replaces “Brewing” With “Craft Beer” In Trademark Dispute

From the Denver Post:

As part of a hard-fought settlement with a Massachusetts homebrew shop, the Denver brewery agreed to change its name to Strange Craft Beer Company, co-owner Tim Myers confirmed.

“The main point for me is, we get to stay Strange,” Myers said. “This is a compromise I would have made 14 months ago if we knew the new name would be Strange Craft Beer Company. It doesn’t come without a price, but the important thing is we built a reputation as Strange and we get to keep it. I am happy to put it behind me.”
