Some 100-Barrel Series news coming from Harpoon:

Every year, Harpoon hosts a European “beer culture” trip for employees celebrating their 5th (and for some, their 8, 12, or 17th…) anniversary on the job. This year, the team traveled to Poland for a fun week of brewery tours, polish food, and team bonding. Some of the pictures are priceless…

It was a trip to Cieszyn Brewery, also known as the Bracki Castle Brewery, that inspired the newest 100 Barrel Series Beer -
#48 Polskie Mastne (link). In celebration of its 1200th anniversary, the Cieszyn Brewery brewed the Brackie Mastne. The Polish malts and hops used to create this beloved Polish Ale, along with the historical significance of its brew, inspired Harpoon brewer Scott Shirley to bring this old style ale inside the Harpoon 100 Barrel Series family.

Our Polskie Mastne incorporates spicy and herbal Marynka hops and two row and caramel malts from the city of Gdansk. The result is a perfectly balanced, unique amber ale that’s best shared with friends both old and new.

Polskie Mastne won’t be around forever so enjoy some pints and 22oz bottles while you can! Na zdrowie (cheers)!
