Samuel Smith’s Winter Welcome Ale: The first imported winter seasonal beer to be sold in America is still the benchmark - now in its 24th annual release. Rich, full-bodied, malty and deeply satisfying, this classic English winter warmer is fermented in open-topped 'Yorkshire Squares' made of slate. The 2013-2014 label features a Shire horse stabled at the brewery, still earning his oats by making local beer deliveries in the village of Tadcaster.
