Future of Anheuser-Busch Baldwinsville, NY Plant Could Lie With Upcoming Teamsters Contract

The statement (above) states the two sides have agreed to a negotiation schedule, and notes the existing contract expires Feb. 28, 2014. 

That's important, because when Belgian beer conglomerate InBev acquired Anheuser-Busch in 2008, it pledged to take no action on the future of any of its U.S. breweries during the life of the existing contract. InBev has had a history of consolidating and closing breweries it acquired elsewhere in the world.
