From 4 Hands Brewing:
4 Hands Brewing Co
is proud to announce expansion of their downtown brewery as well as the launch of their core portfolio (Divided Sky Rye IPA, Reprise Centennial Red, Cast Iron Oatmeal Brown, and Single Speed) in 12-ounce 4 packs and release of their 2013 and 2014 seasonal selections.
2014 Expansion Efforts
4 Hands Brewing Company will increase their capacity to be able to brew a total of 13,000 barrels. Two new 60-barrel tanks will land in their downtown brewery at the beginning of October with another four landing the first of January. With this additional capacity, 4 Hands Brewing Company is looking to fulfill the demand for the 12-ounce 4 packs as well as service outside markets – Kansas City, Metro Illinois, Philadelphia and Chicago (coming soon) – with more consistent inventory.
New 12-ounce 4-Packs
After 18 months in production, demand for the core portfolio has outgrown the 22-ounce format. Also in 2014, 4 Hands Brewing Company will transition Pyrus Saison, Contact High, and Chocolate Milk Stout into the 12-ounce package as well. All other seasonal offerings will remain in the 22-ounce size.
Seasonal Offerings
4 Hands Brewing Company will be releasing 4 seasonal offerings this winter as well as their 2nd anniversary ale. The first fall offering will be Morning Glory. Morning Glory is a fall-inspired ale brewed with sweet potatoes, all spice, nutmeg, whole vanilla beans, and then aged on whiskey-soaked wood spirals. Morning Glory (5.5% Alc/Vol) will be available September through November.
Chocolate Milk Stout will be the second seasonal release. Chocolate Milk Stout pours black as the night sky with aromas of dark chocolate, chocolate malt, coffee and roasted barley. Chocolate Milk Stout (5.5% ALC/VOL) will be available September through February.
Up next will be Smoked Pigasus, a smoked rye maple porter. Smoked Pigasus pours a deep mahogany with aromas of chocolate, smoke, and caramel. Look for Smoked Pigasus (6% ALC/VOL) October through December.
Next up is Bona Fide Imperial Stout – an Imperial Stout brewed with whole vanilla beans and a single-origin Goshen coffee. Bona Fide is big and bold with aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and mild vanilla. Look for Bona Fide (9% ALC/VOL) in late December 2013.
4 Hands Brewing Company also will be releasing the second in a themed anniversary collection inspired by the Wizard of Oz. To celebrate their second year, they will be releasing Beyond the Bricks. Beyond the Bricks was inspired by the yellow brick road, a strong Belgian golden ale aged in white wine barrels with apricots. Beyond the Bricks (9% ALC/VOL) will be available January 2014.
