From Penn Brewery:
It's that time again - dust off your beer stein and unpack those lederhosen! Penn Brewery will host Pittsburgh's classic Oktoberfest celebration the weekends of September 20-22 and 27-29. Penn Oktoberfest beer will be flowing, along with Penn Gold, Pilsner, Dark, Weizen, Kaiser Pils, and a Penn ale.
We'll have plenty of German specialties on the food menu as well. Sample sausages, sauerkraut, hot German potato salad, and soft Bavarian pretzels. We'll also offer American-style favorites including BBQ pork sandwiches, vegetarian sloppy joes, and hot apple cobbler - yum!
No Oktoberfest would be complete without Alpine entertainment, and we'll have plenty of oompah from Autobahn, Heimat Klang, and Madel Jager (formerly Gaudi Buam). There will be ample opportunity to practice "zicke, zacke, zicke zacke, hoi, hoi, hoi, prost!"
Festivities will run from 5pm to midnight on Fridays & Saturday; only guests 21 and over will be permitted after 8pm. Fest will run from 4 to 10pm on Sundays, and all ages are welcome.
As always, there will be no cover charge, and we've reserved ample free parking close to the Brewery.
If you prefer to host your own event, we can help with that, too! Book your fest here at Penn, or order food for pickup. We know how to throw the best O-Fest in town!
