From Old Forge Brewing:
Come in and enjoy your last visit to our current brewpub. We'll be opening up at 298 Mill Street in just a few short weeks!
Join us on our last day August 31st as we remember the good times and great memories at 282 with prizes, complimentary cake, and musical guests at our downstairs bar:
8:30 - 9:15 Woody
9:30 - 10:15 Kimbo
10:30 - 11:15 Farley
Well the time has come to say our goodbyes to good ol' 282 Mill Street. It has served us well for the past 4 1/2 years and has been the source of good food, great beer, and awesome memories. Come out this week to say your goodbyes before we close the doors at 282. Our final closing party will be Saturday night, Aug. 31st. We'll have live music in the downstairs bar (in the former brewhouse area) beginning at 8:30 with Woody Wolfe, at9:30 Kimbo & Bryan, and at 10:30 with Farley. We will have plenty of giveaways, T-shirts, 282 memorabilia, and complimentary dessert to celebrate our years at 282. You'll also have to try our newest creation on tap this week, Nemmy's Backyard Belgian. It's a sessionable fresh hop Belgian ale using 6 different hops picked from Rob Nemchik's backyard hop garden and it comes in at 4.6% alc by volume.
Once the doors are closed at 282 Mill Street, we'll spend the next couple weeks moving everything over to 298 Mill Street and we hope to be open again in mid-September. We'll send out an announcement as soon as we have a firm date. Thank you everyone for making the first 4 1/2 years a success!!
Cheers,
Damien & Maria
