Dogfish Head - Kvasir Ancient Ale

image I’m excited to bring you the first look at a new Ancient Ale coming from Dogfish Head.  This one is called Kvasir and it is an Ancient Ale brewed with lingonberry, cranberry, birch syrup, honey, cranberry juice & herbs.  The beer is named for a Scandinavian priestess and it was developed with Dr. Patrick McGovern and Swedish Brewery Nynashamns Angbryggeri.  This modern interpretation of a grog will be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at 10% ABV.

We brought you details of this brew in March, but now it looks to be a later summer release in all 27-state distribution markets.
