SCONDIDO, CA (July 23, 2013/mbb/) – Stone Brewing Co. is pleased to announce that, beginning August 20, the San Diego, CA brewing company’s beers will be available in bars, restaurants and retail outlets in Nebraska for the first time. Known for its bold, flavorful and hop-centric ales, Stone will distribute its beers throughout The Cornhusker State via four area distributors: Double Eagle Beverage, Eagle Beverage, H & H Distributing and Quality Brands of Omaha. Stone Brewing Co. Craft Beer Ambassador “Dr.” Bill Sysak and the regional Stone sales team will host a slew of events to celebrate from August 20 through 24.

“Nebraska has long been a state that has expressed interest in having our beers available in their local establishments,” said Stone Director of National Sales Jason Armstrong. “Our Nebraska fans have been very active on social media and telling us at beer festivals how much they want Stone beer in their state. It’s exciting to add Nebraska to our Stone family and contribute to the growing craft beer scene there.”

Each distributor will distribute Stone beers to bars, retailers and restaurants in their headquarter-based cities: Lincoln, Fremont, Grand Island and Omaha. Nebraska joins 38 states; Washington, D.C.; five countries and Puerto Rico, where Stone beers are already distributed.
