From Mlive:

Construction on the expansion of Bell's Brewery is expected to begin this July after the project received unanimous approval from The Comstock Township Zoning Board of Appeals at a public hearing Tuesday, June 11.

Bell's had requested an interpretation of the township's zoning ordinance, which restricts buildings in the light manufacturing district to a maximum height of 40 ft., to add space for 24 fermentation tanks that would reach 47 ft. The project sought to add roughly 19,500 square feet to the existing facility, located at 8638 Krum Ave., creating space for a canning addition as well.
