From Bear Republic:
Cloverdale, CA /mbb/-The question, "what's for dinner?" is often difficult for struggling low-income families to answer. Bear Republic Brewing Company, Inc. is proud to partner with the Redwood Empire Food Bank of Sonoma County to help answer that question through the Range to Table donation program.
Initiated by local beef ranchers, the Range to Table donation program puts wholesome meat raised on family farms on the tables of low-income families, senior citizens and others who would go hungry if not for the food provided. Oak Ridge Angus Ranch in Calistoga has volunteered to humanely raise the calves on open range land for the Redwood Empire Food Bank if the feed is supplied. That's where Bear Republic comes in. Bear Republic is donating brewer's grain to be supplied as feed.
The Range to Table Donation Program provides center-of-the-plate protein for 78,000 people each month.
"Since we opened in 1996, we have always donated our brewer's grain to local ranchers. We are very excited to see how working together, this donation can go to help so many needy families in our community," says Owner Tami Norgrove.
Together we can put a wholesome dinner on the table, but we still need your help.
