For Goose Island's 25th Anniversary, Goose Island Brewmaster Brett Porter, Brewmaster Emeritus Greg Hall, and the Pub Brewmaster Nick Barron crafted a beer to celebrate the faithful drinkers who supported them for the past 25 years. Inspired by the special unreleased beer call "Honker's Deluxe," this Extra Special Bitter is brewed with Maris Otter malt and dry-hopped with East Kent Goldings. It exhibits the rich malt and rustic hop flavors found in the English ales that originally inspired Goose Island's founder, John Hall to open the brewery in 1988.
