Brown’s Brewing Closing Brewpub To Open $3 Million Brewery

imageFrom the Troy Record:

When Garry and Kelly Brown opened Brown's Brewing Co. in 1993, they wanted their craft brewery to flourish, but it was their restaurant that found success. Twenty years later, they have sold the buildings housing their downtown restaurant and the banquet hall business to a New York City investor and are preparing to open a $3 million, full-scale brewery on the Walloomsac River in Hoosick.

Today, Memorial Day, the Browns will be shutting down the brewpub and inviting the staff to come out to the new brewery for a beer.
