Every so often a really great idea comes together….some really great brewers, a wonderful brewery and a great local event…and w ehave all three today.  Our pal Chris Wilson from Weyerbacher and Tom Peters from Monk’s Café traveled to Brasserie De La Senne to create the yearly Philly Beer Week brew.  This year it’s called Mannekin-Penn and yes William Penn is peeing on the city of brotherly love.  “From Brussels with love for America’s best Beer-Drinking City.”  No word on style just yet, but this beer will be packaged in 11.2oz bottles and come in at 7.5% ABV.
