Mohegan Sun presents the first annual Steamtown Beer Music Festival on tap on June 15th. The Toyota Pavilion on Montage Mountain plays host to great tunes, local cuisine and savory brews. June 2013 the destination to discover beer and music is Scranton, PA. Attendees are encouraged to arrive thirsty!!!.
Over 50 different breweries from around the corner and across the country climb the mountain to showcase their unique libations and quench the thirst of the thousands of beer aficionados. The focus of The Steamtown Beer and Music Festival is the promotion of craft beer and the brewers that create them. This event is the perfect opportunity for beer aficionados, beer lovers and the casual beer drinker to speak to company representatives and brewers responsible for some of their favorite brews. What’s a day on the mountain with great beer, without quality tunes to set the sound track for the day’s festivities? The inaugural event will play host to the musical styling’s of Muscle Shoal Revival, the Menzingers, Alien Ant Farm, and Fuel, because craft beer taste best with amazing tunes.
The mountain event will have everything your senses desire with the addition of great local, regional chefs, restaurants and beer personalities. Throughout the day, the festival will highlight a variety of beer seminars, cooking demonstrations and tastings. The weekend offers endless opportunity for beer lovers to experience and enjoy.
With a large concern on the safety of festival attendees, the event offers a “Designated Driver” price of $15 per ticket (available at the door) to encourage attendees to be responsible. There are many transportation options on the mountain and the surrounding areas. Taxi services will be on hand as well as a variety of shuttles to move festival attendees around the area. We ask all attendees to taste responsibly. Please know your limits. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted into the show. Valid photo identification must be presented and available at all times.
Tickets for the 2013 Mohegan Sun Steamtown Beer and Music Festival are on sale now by visiting www.steamtownbeerfest.com , Ticketmaster or by stopping at Marc’s Tattoo, 749 Scranton/Carbondale Hwy, Scranton. Tickets are $50 in advance (fees apply) and $55 at the door (if available), Designate Driver tickets $15 and only at the door and with a GA ticket holder present. The Festival will feature two sessions Saturday June 15th Session 1 - 12pm to 4pm – Session 2 6pm to 10pm
