How can a mild ale "based on the recipes for early 1800's Mild ales" be 5.6% ABV??? Milds were meant for factory workers, so they could have beer with their lunch and not kill each other during their afternoon shift. At 5.6%, that's way too strong to be true to style.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sir, for your excellent site. I visited the nice Samuel Adams web site and could not find information about Ruby Mild. I then used Duck Duck Go and found your site. Cheers. I just opened a 12 oz. bottle of Samuel Adams Ruby Mild and I give is a personal grade of 90% and A.
ReplyDeleteThanks T...yes we're usually a little ahead of many of the actual brewery websites. Glad you liked it. I haven't seen it yet.
ReplyDeleteCan you buy this by the 6 or 12 pack instead of the mixed pack?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of it being anywhere in 6 or 12 packs...just the variety pack. That may change so you never know.
