From The Business Journal:
This year’s collaboration produced Checkpoint Charlie, a Berliner Weisse beer that will be available during the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo running March 11-13 at the Delta Center in downtown Milwaukee, and on tap at several Milwaukee-area bars during Craft Beer Week, from May 12-18.
It’s the third consecutive year the two brewers have joined up to make a special beer. The others were Oaty Goat Doppelbock and Rye Road.
Checkpoint Charlie is a “slightly cloudy, moderately sour wheat beer” that is a low 3.2 percent alcohol by volume, the two brewers said. It’s brewed with Wisconsin wheat.
