For the 1st time in 2 and 1/2 years, COSMOS IS BACK! This is Pisgah’s tribute to the Belgian tradition and our home-brewing roots. We combine the rich flavor of a Baltic porter with the subtleness of a special Belgian yeast strain. Bottle-conditioned and aged for months, the authentic organic beer will cellar for years to come. Respect tradition.
Our event will feature flight tastings, signature bottle-releases and growler fills of this popular style. This is a small batch release and most will be sold on-site, so come out to ensure you get a taste! Release will begin at 6:30pm, show with Phuncle Sam at 8pm.

Special Cherry-Raspberry Belgian-Style Ale
It’s Baaaaack…. The discretely strong and frisky fruity wonder that is… Red Devil Ale!
This 9% Belgian-style ale was originally brewed to commemorate Pisgah’s 200th batch. Packed with over one pound of cherries and raspberries per gallon, the Red Devil balances delicately between tart and not-too-sweet. Treat yourself to a half-pour of Red Devil with a half-pour of Nitro Stout on top for some chocolate covered cherries. And, because we feel this ale is perfect for pairing, our dear friends at French Broad Chocolate Lounge will be joining us with the candy of love as a sweet surprise to go with a special pour.
Entry is FREE, pairings will be sold day-of. Enjoy the sweet sounds of The Everydays to accompany this special Valentine’s Day edition fo our Red Devil Release Party!
Hellbender: 2/23
One of our favorite seasonal releases is back: it’s the 2013 installment of the Pisgah Brewing HELLBENDER! Organic brown sugar and Centennial hops give this English-style barleywine its smooth finish and extra alcohol. At a hefty 9.8% ABV, this beer is a tribute to North America’s largest salamander, the Hellbender.
