From UT SanDiego:
Last week, local breweries started loading the beer onto pallets that should reach Hong Kong within a few weeks. The craft beers are headed to a brew festival, restaurants and bars, officials said.
The local breweries involved in the program are Vista’s Aztec Brewing and Iron Fist Brewing, and Lost Abbey in San Marcos, said Carrie Brooks, a senior international specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service, which is part of the Department of Commerce.
Each brewery shipped one pallet — roughly 60 to 70 cases, with about 12 bottles in each case.
Julian Hard Cider, which produces an apple-based beverage called hard cider, also shipped one pallet of its product to Hong Kong.
